ITZAIN forges a strategic partnership with Digital Planets to deliver secure technological solutions in the Saudi market
Expenditures on digital transformation in Saudi Arabia surpassed around 35 billion Saudi riyals
ITZAIN, the leading provider of digital solutions, announces signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and forging a strategic partnership with Digital Planets, a leading company in the realm of information security and digital transformation. This collaboration aims to offer integrated technological solutions in the Saudi market. The announcement was made on the sidelines of their participation in the LEAP 24 Tech Conference held in Riyadh from March 4th to 7th.
The objective of the partnership is to assist businesses and organizations in achieving optimal levels of security while sustaining their growth and progress. It also aims to foster new avenues for business opportunities, as well as strengthen the integration between the smart solutions offered by IT ZAIN and the specialized services of advanced cybersecurity and digital transformation provided by Digital Planets in the Saudi market. This collaboration is essential in keeping pace with the rapid advancements in the global technology sector, especially in the Middle East region, and addressing the significant challenges faced by the commercial industry.
Eng. Ahmed Omar, the CEO of ITZAIN, expressed his delight with the signed MoU, highlighting that this agreement was reached after multiple meetings and workshops to assess the demand for the partnership’s solutions in the Saudi market. The goal of this collaboration is to support SMEs in their efforts to achieve digital transformation and foster business development, in line with Saudi Vision 2030. Notably, over 35 billion riyals have already been invested in digital transformation initiatives in the Kingdom.
He added that ITZAIN will provide CRM services to clients, while Digital Planets will offer network security solutions and call center services, according to the signed cooperation agreement. The target is to serve various sectors with a large workforce, including companies, factories, and government bodies. These sectors require a flexible system to effectively manage their work volume and nature. He further emphasized that the industrial sector will be given priority due to its significant impact on the national economy.
According to recent international reports, expenditure on information and communications technology (ICT) in the Middle East is projected to rise to $238 billion in 2024, representing a 4.5% increase compared to 2023. As the digital economy in the region continues to increasingly grow, expenditure on digital transformation is expected to reach $59 billion in 2024 and experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15% over the next five years, reaching $88 billion by 2027.
Khaled Helmy, the Regional Sales Director of Digital Planets, highlighted that the agreement marks the team’s dedication to advancing and staying up-to-date with cutting-edge technology, in line with the Digital Planet’ plan. The objective is to offer integrated solutions for the Middle East region, particularly the Saudi market.
